Escape to the top of the world! From the HELiPRO Helicentre we fly west over the Canterbury Plains on track to the majestic Waimakariri Gorge, gateway to the Southern Alps. Enjoy the thrill of flying through this spectacular steep sided river canyon before climbing to land at high altitude on the summit of the dramatic Chest Peak. Here you will enjoy expansive 360 degree views overlooking the Canterbury plains and our snow capped alpine mountains. After enjoying some light refreshments in the pure mountain air, re-board your helicopter and enjoy a thrilling descent over the Ashley River and Lee's Valley for the return flight to Christchurch.
This is a truly unforgettable trip which can be made even more special by requesting our optional picnic lunch either in the heart of the Waimakariri Gorge, or the top of Chest Peak.

Approx. 90 minutes
With optional lunch break the duration of this tour is extended for up to 1 hour. Add on optional lunch break option $55.00 per person including gourmet hampered lunch. Alcoholic beverages not included but can be arranged upon request.
